Two years of coup and its impact.

Did you know Myanmar is entering into the third year of political crisis soon? With its prolonged internal conflict, it is crystal clear that the return of the civilian government isn’t solely the absolute political resolution for Myanmar.

“By nearly every feasible measurement, and in every area of human rights – economic, social and cultural, as much as civil and political – Myanmar has profoundly regressed,” said the UN Human Rights Chief Volker Türk recently, reflecting on the power grab of 1 February 2021.
