Every person in Myanmar will have the opportunity to be reached and restored by the love of Jesus.

In the next five years, a number of organizations are committed to partnering together in an effort to impact the nation of Myanmar through strengthening the local church, planting reproducing churches, and making disciples among all people groups and in every sphere and strata of society.

SAC in despair need of militia

A local journal reported that the SAC had been distributing propaganda flyers around schools in Naypyitaw Council where students were taking the matriculation exam.

This was undertaken in order to seek new recruits to join the army. The junta chief admitted in a recent meeting that nearly half of the 300 townships in Myanmar were no longer under the full control of the military.

The approach to persuade children under age and jobless young people to join the troop has been an old strategy, said an ex-army captain who joined the CDM now. In addition, he remarked that “The military council will use any method to strengthen their army in this state of despair’’.

Covid -19 and the coup had impacted children and young people in their study, social and emotional development which will later have enormous impact on the country’s future.

Let’s pray for them through Philippians 4:6–7, ‘’May HIS peace will guard their (the children’s and young people’s) hearts and minds.’’
