The aerial attack on October 9th midnight at Mung Lai Hkyet, an IDP camp village where about 600 people took shelter, near Laiza, the headquarters of the Kachin Independence Organization, killed 29 people which included more than a dozen children, and nearly 60 were injured.
‘’ Dear God, this event is so intense and we can’t even find the words to pray. Holy Spirit, please take our unspoken confusion and heartache to the Father, translating our tears into effective prayers!’’
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
