In times of hardship, one should look to Jesus Christ, the suffering God. He is divine yet left the heavenly throne and humbly became man and underwent all the possible human sufferings. As the prophets foretold, Jesus experienced human rejection, pain, public shame, abuse, and humiliation. At the crucifixion, He was mocked, stripped naked, slapped, whipped, spat upon, shamed, tortured, pierced, crushed, afflicted and died an agonizing death. He suffered solely for us; to redeem us from sin and every bit of pain and suffering. He conquered death by resurrection and is present with us today as God with us, Immanuel.
May God give His wisdom and revelation to Myanmar people, who have gone through so much suffering under the military junta.Look to Jesus Christ. He is the only suffering God who understands all of our sufferings as He Himself walked through a journey of suffering. Also, He is with us in our suffering and pain with the promise to always be with us. We may not have answers to all our current situations but He holds the ultimate future. He is with you and will always be.
“Only the suffering God can help”
