Myanmar New Year Holidays for Spiritual Enrichment

Do you usually take time off annually from your daily schedules to emphasize your spiritual health?

Thingyan, the longest public holiday in Myanmar falls between April 10th to April 16th. It marks the start of the Myanmar Lunar Calendar and is celebrated annually nationwide.

Usually, Christian leaders in Myanmar grab this opportunity to organize spiritual enrichment activities such as bible camps, prayer sessions, biblical trainings, evangelism programs, mission trips, etc to build up fellow Christians and reach out to non-believers to share the gospel.  This year, a number of churches are planning spiritual strengthening programs amid various political challenges.

Pray that God’s presence be with these churches’ activities and God will be with them for HIS glory!
