At the time of grief and darkness, we need our loved ones and friends to present with us and receive their encouragement and comfort. Meeting people to listen to their stories, and provide them with the words or message of encouragement like Barnabas did is one of the ways we can bless people at this challenging time.
Realizing this fact, one of our ministry partners, launched a vision to establish a low-cost “outreach houses” across Yangon, where the community can meet regularly for discipleship and being encouraged by each other. Similarly, some churches and ministries have been conducting regular home-cell fellowships.
Prayer request:
Let’s pray that believers will continue to conduct discipleship and outreach meetings to multiply the message of hope and encouragement to their community.
Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. ~Hebrews 10:25 (NIV)
