Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Matthew 6:25-27 NIV
Starting February 1st, we have been facing lots of struggles, suffering, and pain. There were times that we felt lost, and felt unsure of what tomorrow held for us. It is very easy for us to get lost in day to day challenges. We give more time to news on social media and to comments full of hatred. As we focus on these things, we can only see that everything is falling apart. The health sector is not ready for the new variant. The education system is unstable. The business sector is in crisis. Crime rates are rising. A lot of people have already lost their jobs for almost 10 months. There are a lot of CDMers who still do not have enough support, and are unable to return to work — even in the private sectors. The military government forces private sectors to not hire them. We feel uncertain about our jobs and our lives. We feel that there is no hope for tomorrow, but if we spent more time reading the Bible and Word of God, we would see God’s promises. If we fix our eyes on the Lord Jesus and trust His words, we will see the light in this hard time. The Lord Jesus has already given us hope and the promise that we do not need to worry about tomorrow.

Pray for the hearts of the civilians of the country to be able to know and see Christ in these difficult times, fix their eyes on the Lord, take hope for tomorrow, and not to worry nor be anxious, knowing that God is with us every moment.
