When Jesus died and rose again, why didn’t He come back in five minutes, or an hour? Why did He wait for three days? They must have felt like the blackest, longest days in the disciples’ lives, but there was an end to them.
In our lives, there are times when we pray for relief from great suffering, but the Lord doesn’t seem to answer. It feels like there is a horrible silence, but these times are intentional. Take hope, because God operates in the darkest days of our lives.
Pray for the endurance of the people of Myanmar in the midst of such evil times. Pray God strengthens and deepens their trust in Him and His faithfulness as they continue to pray for themselves, those around them, and their country.
