“If I say, ‘I will not mention Him, or speak any more in His Name,’ there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot.”
Jeremiah 20:9
“Right now, everyone who is preaching the Gospel is seeing fruit.”
One of our partner ministries tells the stories of faithful evangelists in Myanmar, deeply in love with Jesus. Their lives declare the cry of Jeremiah — their zeal for the glory of the Lord and the salvation of the people is like fire in their bones. One evangelist was described as one who would die if he could not preach the Gospel!
In one city alone, one ministry saw extraordinary fruit in just one month: The Gospel was preached 1,339 times. Roughly 4,330 Gospel tracts were handed out. The Jesus Film was shown 110 times. They saw 71 miraculous healings, 329 people who decided they wanted to follow Christ, and 8 people receive baptism!
Evangelists like these stand throughout the country, using every opportunity to love and serve their neighbors, share the Gospel, and glorify God in their communities. These Christians are bringing medicine, rice, cleaning supplies, oxygen, chicken soup, Gospel videos and tracts, and the light and joy of Christ to the lost and the suffering in their nation.
The Lord is moving mightily through His faithful believers all over this nation. These are the stories of one ministry, but there are many more working and active in Myanmar. None of us can see the full picture of all the work the Lord is doing in Myanmar, but we know His hand is on this nation, bringing in the harvest and growing fruit in His believers for His good purposes. Praise the Lord for His mighty power and saving hand!

Prayer Requests
- Pray for the Lord to raise up many more — 100,000 more — evangelists who will sing like nightingales in the darkness of Myanmar, pointing people to Christ.
- Pray that the Lord would continue to soften the hearts of the people to the kindness and love of Christians, to the Good News, and to the light and joy of Jesus.
