Does Jesus care Myanmar?

Does Jesus care Myanmar?

How often does this question tickle your mind?

After the hit of Covid -19 and the coup, every day in Myanmar is filled with tragic news of the junta’s arbitrary, violence, bomb explosions and the number of internally displaced people increased every day.

At the economic and social dimension front, you will witness critically limited access to social services particularly of education for the youth and children, economic disruptions and its consequences of joblessness, starvation and other unlawful acts, etc. and you won’t wonder why this becomes a candid question among the people of Myanmar.

In the midst of this politically and socially unresolved situation, the pass of Burma Act 2022 by the US Senate  in the past few days, the triumph of Aung La N Sang at ONE Championship 163 event, where he lost the past two fights in 2020 and 2021, during last month bring beams of hope to the Myanmar people.

‘’I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year’’ ,as Charles Dickens wrote in his book of ‘’A Christmas Carol’’ ,may our God grant us Christmas spirit of  faith with a refresh message of hope, of new beginnings, of unity, of restoration through the year and the upcoming years.
