“Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings, from the wicked who do me violence, my deadly enemies who surround me.” – Psalm 17:8-9
The military regime in Myanmar has eyes everywhere. Reports have emerged that the military ordered spyware technology months before the coup, allowing it to monitor civilian calls, texts, and web traffic. The junta also makes use of “dalans,” local informers forced to spy on their
neighbors. Their recent increase in internet costs has also crippled the public’s ability to publicize local news.
1. Pray that the Lord would make ministries laboring for His Kingdom invisible to the eyes of Myanmar’s junta.
2. Pray that He would hide the people of Myanmar in the shadow of His wings and keep them from violence.
