Day 7 -Children (21 Days of Prayer for Myanmar )

“Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is  the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives  one little child like this in My name receives Me.” – Matthew 18:4-5

When a nation is in turmoil, children always pay a price.  Schools in Myanmar have been closed for over a year due to  the pandemic and now the coup. More recently, schools have been reopened, but many of the teachers that previously taught at these schools have fled or joined the Civil Disobedience Movement. Many of the new teachers are both overwhelmed with the amount of students that need to graduate and are being pressured to graduate their students regardless of the education they have received. Not only has the education of children suffered, but children are constantly being exposed to trauma that can greatly damage their psyche.

1. Pray for the children’s education to be complete and for them to learn what they need to survive.

2. Pray for peace to be restored to these children’s lives, and for their eyes to be drawn to

our Heavenly Father who loves them and heals their trauma.
