“I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” – Psalm 34:4
Myanmar’s military regime has been in pitched conflict with rebel and ethnic forces. A growing number of soldiers have defected from the military since the coup began, and hundreds of civilians have either joined rebel guerilla groups or ethnic defense forces. In the sudden and evershifting battlefield, hundreds of innocents have been caught in the crossfire between the junta and the rebels, and thousands have fled their homes into jungles, mountains, caves and even neighboring countries.
1. Pray for peace to come in the nation of Myanmar, and for protection for the innocents in the middle of this civil war.
2. Pray that civilians and soldiers alike would seek the Lord and find that He can deliver them from all fear.
