People in Myanmar have been divided by ethnic group for many centuries. With the addition of different Christian denominations, believers now find themselves divided both by ethnicity as well as denomination. For example, Karen Baptists are divided from Karen Anglicans or Methodists — as well as Baptists of other ethnic groups. But praise the Lord; there are signs of change in the hearts of believers.
Pray for God to deeply convict His Body in Myanmar, that He calls them to love and unity, and that they hear and obey Him.
“I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment” (1 Cor 1:10).
