Aung San Suu Kyi, leader of the National League for Democracy in Myanmar, was found guilty of giving her bodyguards unlicensed walkie-talkies. For this, as well as COVID violations, she has been sentenced to an additional 4 years imprisonment — on top of the two years she received for another charge in December. She awaits trial for 7 more charges, 6 of which are charges of corruption.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you” (Psalm 32:8). Pray God would instruct the people of Myanmar and give them wisdom, discernment, and a full reliance on Himself in the face of these political challenges.
